Rally Weekend

Delaney's favorite things in life are Care Bears, Dora, Mickey Mouse, Princesses, Monster Trucks, John Deere tractors and motorcycles. So of course she wanted to head out to see what was going on at the Hollister Motorcycle Rally this weekend. It was crowded so we didn't stay long but here's some pictures of what we were able to see...








And just in case you wanted to hear a little history about the Hollister bike rally it started in 1947 when a group of bikers gathered in town and started a "riot." The 1947 Hollister motorcycle gathering was part of the inspiration for the Marlon Brando movie, The Wild One. The rally now brings close to 130,000 bikers into Hollister each July. So with that many people of course we couldn't get close enough to any of the really neat custom bikes or chopper building companies to take pictures. But never the less it's still a fun event.
