Chris celebrated his 35th birthday this past Sunday.
But the real celebration started last week at Disneyland. One of the main reasons we went to Disneyland was because that was what Chris wanted to do for his birthday.
If you'll remember from my last post while having dinner at Tortilla Jo's in Downtown Disney, the Balloon Guy made Chris an awesome birthday hat.
The birthday hat was a hit with everyone and made multiple appearances over the course of Chris' birthday weekend.
After getting home from our trip on Saturday, Delaney made this birthday cake for Daddy (with Grandma Barb's help).
Then on Saturday evening we had an early celebration with Chris' parents. He opened a few gifts and posed for pictures with his two cute girls.
Then Chris received a surprise visit from a person who called herself the "Birthday Fairy." She was insistent that Chris wear a Mardi Gras hat, put on a cape and carry a baton/wand.
Later in the evening after the "Birthday Fairy" left, we had cake and ice cream.
Then on Sunday (Chris' real birthday), we did it all again. If you'll notice Chris is still wearing his hat and Delaney is still assisting all the present opening, like always.
And now that Chris' birthday is over. We can focus on mine. :)
Only 29 more days!!!
