Kylie was sort of running around like a chicken with it's head cut off at Delaney's class celebration, so this is the only picture I ended up with!
Last Saturday, we ended up in Sacramento for the day. We weren't sure we were going to be able to make it but Delaney had a girl scout event cancelled at the last minute and we were able to go! My sweet cousin Beth has the same birthday as Delaney and this year she turned the big 16! Beth had a 16th birthday party and was nice enough to share the party with all the little girls in our family who were born in August and September. Lamely, I only took 3 pictures at this party. But we had a fun day of swimming and playing outside. And Kylie also got birthday presents even though she wasn't officially part of the birthday bunch! Lucky girl!
We drove straight home after this party, so we could celebrate Delaney's actual birthday in Santa Cruz the next day with Chris!
We had something else fun happen this week, Kylie started gymnastics! She loves it and is already enjoying big girl activities like the balance beam. (Of course I have no pictures to share of this milestone because it's a parent participation class, so I couldn't exactly assist Kylie and take pictures at the same!)
And it's great that Kylie has an activity like this now because these past two weeks have been a little rough for her. She cries every day after we drop Delaney off at school. She doesn't think it's fair that Sissy gets to go to school and she doesn't!
In addition to Kylie in gymnastics, Delaney has also had Girl Scouts and soccer start up. And dance starts again next week. So that's keeping us busy, busy!
