At Six Flags Discovery Kingdom, they have any area where you can hold birds and have your picture taken. Of course, they want you to buy their own professional pictures so they don't allow you to take pictures straight on. So here's a side shot of me holding a bird. Delaney chickened out when we got up there and wouldn't hold a bird with me.
Meeting Tweety Bird and Sylvester...
After we met two of her favorite characters Delaney got a little braver and wanted to go back and hold a bird.
Delaney and Kylie posing by a cute dolphin garbage can...
Delaney loved this hopping frog ride. And after Delaney's first go round, we discovered that Kylie was big enough to go on it too. Kylie thought this was the best thing ever!
Riding the Safari Jeeps, another one of Kylie's favorite. She thought she was so big getting to ride up front with Delaney on all these rides, while I sat in the back.
Delaney also got to meet Petunia Pig and Lola, who is Bugs Bunny's girlfriend.
And we posed by a Daffy Duck statue since we didn't actually get meet him aside from seeing him perform in a Looney Tunes show in the kids area.
Delaney LOVED meeting Wonder Woman.
After a fun day at Six Flags, we spent the night at a hotel and then went to the Jelly Belly Factory in Fairfield the next day.
You can't take any pictures on the actual tour, but let me tell you it was great! Although, you are allowed to take pictures with the various pictures of Ronald Reagan in the lobby made out of Jelly Belly's in case you were wondering. :)
Here is a picture of Kylie at Great Grandma Nancy's later in the week. She insisted on wearing that frog shower cap for hours that day. Delaney called her a "fashion disaster."
We hit up the Yuba Sutter Fair and had some fun riding the kiddie rides...
And we met Aunt Mary Ann, Aunt Phyllis, Ashlynn and Emerson and went to Fairytale Town and the Sacramento Zoo.
I think the 4 girls had just as much fun playing on this stage as they did in the park.
Aunt Mary Ann is a docent at the Sacramento Zoo, so she gave us a bit of a tour and the girls all rode the carousal.
And yes, we are redneck and fit four kids on this ride...
We had a great trip and Delaney wants to do the same trip again next summer. She's already talking about it!

Looks like a great trip! Bet it took the adults a couple of days afterwards to recuperate though! I don't blame Delaney, I'd want to do it all again too!
Thanks for posting the pictures. I had so much fun with you and the girls. But Grandma Barb is right, it did take me a few days to recuperate.
