Last night we went to Holiday Lights at Gilroy Gardens. During the Holiday Season, Gilroy Gardens is open during the night only. The park is decorated with beautiful lights every where and even some "snow".
There was even a Santa's workshop where you could write letter to Santa and have your picture taken with the Jolly Old Man himself.
Kylie was not a fan of Santa. She spent the whole time screaming and grabbing at Delaney. It was like she was begging for help!
We even got to meet Santa Snoopy and Sally from the Peanuts gang in the park.
Gilroy Gardens set up a small ice rink for the Holiday season. Delaney got to go ice skating for the first time last night and thought it was the most fun ever!
Chris took to skating like a pro. He claimed it was because he went skating one other time at Rockefeller Center. (He failed to mention that it was over 20 years ago!)
They had green traffic cones for kids to balance on to help them skate around the rink. Delaney actually could skate without the cone but was convinced she needed to use one.
Then before we left for the evening we got to watch a Charlie Brown Christmas show.
At the end of the show, Delaney got to go on stage with all the characters. (Delaney is in front of Lucy in this picture. She has on a red cap, with a blue jacket with a pink hood.)
We were all cold and tired after the Charlie Brown show, so decided to head home. They put on a firework and laser light show later in the evening but since it was only 39 degrees outside at this point, we decided we would much rather get in our car, crank up the heater and drive home.
And on our way out, we got see some more snow.
And here is bonus video of Chris and Delaney skating. (Sorry that is kind of dark and hard to see!)

That looks like so much fun, I wish I had been there. I love to ice skate!
It looks like you had a great evening. Delaney did pretty well on skates too. Did Kylie like the other characters better than Santa or was she asleep in the pictures?
Heather,
Delaney would have loved to ice skate with you!
Barb,
Kylie was awake when we saw Snoopy and Sally and she didn't cry. She did fall asleep for the evening about 10 minutes after that so she might not have been too awake when we saw them! So well just have to wait and see how she does with the characters at Disneyland.
