Halloween at Dance

Delaney got to wear her Halloween costume to dance today. This is a huge deal to her and she has been looking forward to it all week. Delaney is actually going to be Cinderella for Halloween this year but last year when she wore her actual Halloween costume to dance, I spent the whole time worrying she was going to rip it. So this year, she decided to go as a cheerleader using another costume we had.

(Oh, and just in case you were wondering today at dance, you could bring a guest if you wanted. Her dance class usually isn't this big, and there are no little boys in her actual class.)

This is the circle time at the start of class where they stretch and get ready to dance. (If you can't find Delaney, she is to the right of the teacher.)

I'm not sure what is going on here but this picture made me laugh. She kept running around dancing with her tongue sticking out...

And if you remember back to my previous dance class posts. Delaney still has a fondness for looking at herself in the mirror and making funny faces while she dances.

And at one point in class, they did a conga line where Delaney got to be the caboose. I think this may have been the highlight of class for her...

Doing a bean bag dance...

An action shot, as we were getting ready to leave after class was over...

And this has nothing to do with dance but Uncle Tim and Aunt Melissa sent Delaney this funny Halloween sucker and I keep meaning to put a picture of her with it in on the blog. The sucker is pretty big and luckily came with the ability to be re-wrapped so she can enjoy it for a few days at time.

I hope everyone has good week and is all ready for Halloween!

Wow, Delaney has been one busy little girl! Sure looks like she's been having fun with all kinds of activities too.
