Since their last game was on Cinco de Mayo, the league had a pinata full of candy for each team to break open after their last game. Delaney thought this was great!
Then on Saturday evening, the league had a Closing Ceremony for all the girls. Each team marched on the field carrying their banner and each girl received a medal for playing.
Then after the medal ceremony all the girls signed each others jersey. This was almost as exciting for Delaney as getting to hit a pinata.
Hopefully she likes softball as well again when she plays next year!

It looks like lots of fun and I can see why Delaney liked it! Great activities to end the season.
