Pumpkin Patch 2009 (Again!)

Delaney's class had a field trip to the pumpkin patch today. The whole class had a great time despite the fact that it was really cool and windy today.

The first stop on the field trip was the corn maze.

We were pretty cold walking around inside the maze and at one point Delaney announced to me that she wishes we still were on Maui because it's too cold here.

After the corn maze her class got to hear the story of Spookley the Square Pumpkin and learned about how to grow and harvest corn...

Then they went fishing for goats. Each child was given a long corn stalk and able to feed the corn stalk to a pen of goats...

After that Delaney decided to play in the hay. Here are a few shot of her in action...

Then Delaney decided to try out one of the many toy tractors they have for kids to ride.

She's giving me the stink eye in that picture because I suggested she get off the tractor and let some other child ride it since we have that exact same pedal tractor at home.

After a little tractor riding, her class headed over to the cow train...

And after the cow train, we headed over to the Haystack jump pillow...

And a couple of hours later I had to take Delaney kicking and screaming to our car so we would go home.
