I wasted my morning by driving to the next town over to look for the elusive Zhu Zhu pet hamster. After going to 4 stores with a cranky 4 year old, we finally gave up and drove home after coming to the conclusion that the news reports are true, they really are sold out everywhere.
Luckily as soon as we got home we got a phone call from Grandma Peggy. She wanted to let us know that she just bought the last Zhu Zhu pet hamster at Toys R Us in Yuba City.
Now I just need to keep my fingers crossed that Delaney will still want one at Christmas time.
