(And just in case you were wondering why Delaney hates to pose for pictures and has on and off again grouchiness, she more than likely inherited it from someone in this picture. )
Well Grandma Peggy and Grandpa Harry brought with them what Delaney is considering the second best birthday gift ever, the Dora Let's Get Ready Vanity set. This vanity set has a large Dora doll called a styling head that allows Delaney to brush and do Dora's hair. And the set even came complete with a fake curling iron, hair dryer, hair crimper and other plastic play styling tools that Delaney can pretend to do Dora's hair with. This vanity set may be the greatest gift to creation in Delaney's mind following her play set.
Delaney has been playing with her vanity set for hours today, so it's a-ok in my book if it will allow to get some housework done, even though the Dora styling head does sort of scare me!
