Halloween 2010

Delaney played her second to the last soccer game on Saturday and Grandma Barb and Grandpa Don  were nice enough to come down to watch her play. After the game they took her back to San Jose with them to celebrate a fun a Halloween weekend complete with a trip to the pumpkin patch, a visit to the big San Jose library, cookie baking, pumpkin carving and of course watching the World Series.

Chris and I went to San Jose yesterday so that we could join them for all the fun Halloween night festivities. It was a fun evening but there where hardly any Trick or Treaters out. We think everyone must have stayed home to watch the World Series.

Here is Delaney before we left to go trick or treating...

And here is Delaney posing with her Daddy...

And here are this years pumpkins. The pumpkin in the middle is one that Delaney and Grandma Barb carved as a tribute to the Giants being in the World Series this year. A lot of people must have the same idea as them though because we saw lots of other "Fear the Beard" pumpkins as we went door to door last night.

Oh, and the pumpkin on the far right in the above picture was carved by Delaney by herself with no help from anyone.

And lastly this a pretty large pumpkin that Chris and Delaney carved together on Halloween afternoon.

I didn't take very many pictures of Halloween this year, so hopefully Grandma Barb will put some of the ones she took up on her blog.
