Delaney got to participate in our local Saddle Horse Show and Rodeo Parade this evening with the Girl Scouts. They got to ride on a neat float sponsored by Casa de Fruita that was antique truck that was turned into a parade vehicle.
Here are a few picture of Delaney and her troop waiting for the parade to start. Delaney is on the far left in the pink hat holding the stick horse. (Note: the stick horse isn't ours, I think Delaney stole it from someone to use in pictures!)
Kylie and I went and got a front row to seat to watch the parade once we dropped Delaney off. Unfortunately we had to drop Delaney off one hour and fifteen minutes before the parade even started, so that was a long time to keep Kylie entertained without anything going on!
The Saddle Horse Show and Rodeo Parade is actually a really good small town parade. There are lots of fancy floats, antique cars, tractors and horses. Kylie only seemed to like the horses. So therefore she was only calm and sat still when the horses came by, which in turn only allowed to me take pictures of the parade entries that involved horses. And during the rest of the parade, Kylie kept trying to run away. Fun times!
Finally we saw Delaney's float on the horizon.
Delaney is on the top row, 4th from the left in the pink hat.
And as soon as Delaney's float turned the corner and left, Kylie and I decided to call it a night and head over to pick Delaney up off the float. We missed the last half of the parade, but at that point in the evening, I think Kylie was parade-d out!

Did Kylie wear her cowboy hat too? Did she say Yee Haw alot? Or was she just busy trying to be an escape artist?
